Wednesday, January 18, 2006 Tales of a Fandom-Infused Day: In my first class of this semester, Chinese and Japanese Traditions, not only did my professor say, "I am a leaf on the tide..." but also recounted the tale of the mariner and the albatross... Later, I had a mandatory HIPAA training session (to teach new employees not to give out clients' personal information) in which we were shown a video of a hospital situation, and I swear I saw Simon... I know there were a bunch of other coincidental Firefly/Serenity references, but I can't think of them right now... Maybe I watched Serenity too many times over break...
