Saturday, July 24, 2004 Right now I'm babysitting for three exceedingly obnoxious children who have no manners, no sense of respect, and no sense of cleanliness. And they're doing a wonderful job reaffirming my hatred of most children. They won't leave me the FUCK ALONE... And the worst part is they're at that obnoxious age where they claim they'll "tell on you" for not playing with them... I think I now understand why one of those silly diagnostic psychic-analysis tests said I may have anger issues... Earlier we watched the Lindsay Lohan remake of The Parent Trap, and the contrast between the Disney-style happy ending and real life around here was enough to make me sick. This family consists of a flakey cancer survivor, a miserable husband without a clue, and their children who run the household, which is fantastic since they're a mere 5 and 7 years old... posted by Shannon | 8:16 PM |
