Friday, March 07, 2003 No matter how many different recipies I try, no matter how many times I try to modify a recipie, no matter how many times I have a whim to improvise in the kitchen, I can never perfect the art that is fried rice... Why is it that all the restaurants' fried rices taste ten times better than any home cooked version I've ever tried to make? And microwaving leftovers doesn't count... And to top it all off, all the restaurant versions taste somewhat similar [because its the same side dish]...and no concoction of mine even comes close...
