Monday, September 09, 2002 So, how is everyone out there in internet world? I'm finally a little bit less busy than I was before, but not quite ready to conquer anything new or big, so I figured I'd just get something fresh up on the sight... School has started again. And with that comes a long list of cons that I wont bore you with, but I might as well list a few pros. [Hey, no one ever died from looking on the bright side...unless they just didn't see that truck coming...] But anyway, a few days ago I met my new roomate, Kim Green. She's a field-hockey playing, comedy loving, Guster and Radiohead fan. Coolness. I also got into the Gaccon dormatory, and, even better, got a loft [i.e. 2 floors]. The dorm rules are a lot less strict this year, definitely a plus. In fact I got together with Jes, Jon, and Will and we had a little "chillax" session, listened to some Pumpkins, APC, and NIN. After somewhat disfiguring my room, we headed over to West Campus and hung out in Will and Quirk's room. Again, more music [like that was unpredictable], Tool first, then we totally wound down to Bob Marley. And Jon played his guitar for us. The highlights: Jon accidentally made his soda can explode, and I don't mean fizzy, I mean he dropped it and it burst all over their room...and playing Aenima with his toungue...yep, we got pictures... Will's convo on the phone with Corey...and making fun of Jes while she jumped off the loft onto the wardrobe, and wasn't much taller... Jes's panic over Matt "disappearing"...Screaming in the dorm "Quiiiiirk! Wiiiiill!"... And then we had a "form bonding" trip to an Outward Bound clinic on Thompson Island in Boston Harbor. Best part was the vertical climbing contraption. And I'm too lazy to go on, and quite busy, so I shall leave it at this... posted by Shannon | 6:54 PM |
