Wednesday, August 07, 2002 I miss Japan so much! My trip definately ranks way up there in my BEST THINGS EVER! list. {sigh} But anyway, this is relevant because I came across this rather amusic blog called Tokyo Tales today, you should check it out. The Gallery is worth your while and I highly recomend the Japlish section, his sometimes sarcastic and sometimes blatant comments after each quote have managed to make me laugh out loud. And if you haven't already heard of the wonderfully hillarious engrish.com, visit that, too... I will never forget this one particular menu at an Italian place on the 6th floor of Shijo Station...in the beverages section, it had a description of each of the fancy shmansy coffee drinks..."Cafe esspresso is common drink in Italy. Milk has nice tasting. Please enjoy after taste." Wow, if I have one regret from that trip, I regret not taking a picture of that menu... posted by Shannon | 12:59 AM |
