"I'm having tromblems!"

Yes, yes, more lisdexic quotage courtesy of yours truly...and I'm back, if you haven't figured that out by now...I had a pretty funtastic trip, and even though this goes against everything I stand for [i.e.my "I hate children" moral] : my little blonde 5 yr. old second cousin Jessie is so damn cute! That said, let's move on... about the trip-o...

Goals: Get unique things for new room, find good deals on media memorabillia, diet, excercise, get a slight tan, and have fun...

Went: shopping, dining, beach-ing, movie-ing...

Movie: Men In Black II - I liked the first one, so I felt obliged to see the second. I was very skeptical, seeing as sequels almost never measure up to their ancestors... but it was actually not an abominable disgrace as I had sort of expected... The creators did a pretty good job pulling it through without degrading the material too much. My one peeve was that the villain could have been more...well, villainous. So I say, if you liked the first one, and you haven't seen it yet, go ahead and see it. Nothing phenominal or ground breaking, but not a disappointment. And when I saw the contortionists from the Schism video, I was like "SWEET! Look, the...::pause::...::sigh::...nevermind..." Saddly, I was with my aunt Weeze and my cousin Erin, and however awsome they are, they are far from knowledgeable in the Tool feild, so I had no one to share the moment with :( But it was still cool, of course...

Got: Fight Club poster [great deal: $1], American Beauty poster, Nirvana poster, Blue Man mini-poster [great deal: $1], "Excuse to Party" poster, Metallica - S&M [used], Monty Python and The Holy Grail CD [used], Best of Boston Pops with John Williams CD [used] [Tracks include: Raiders of the Lost Ark theme, Jaws theme, Close Encounters theme, Imperial March and Star Wars main theme, E.T. theme, etc.], Fiona Apple - Tidal [used], two funky hand-painted mirrors for my new room [an orange sun, a blue moon], three mini alien paratroopers [$1 - I'm soo cheap! :)] [1 purple w/ boxing gloves, 1 blue w/ vest, 1 green w/ business suit, briefcase, and umbrella], random magnet about prices in 1987, stickers for room [1 flower, 1 "CAUTION: Blonde Thinking", 1 "Ever stop to think, and forget to start again?"], gift for Jeanne [my aunt's 50-something-ith b-day], chocolate, and a slight tan [which for me means reaching a natural human color]

Met: Interesting Rhode Island guy named Darron...but forgot to get his effing sn...[*sighs*] oh well...he didn't really seem my type anyway...

Conclusion: I am very weird, and I like it. And I miss everyone, talk to me, damn it! :)
