Tuesday, May 28, 2002 Three of my cousins, three sisters, all got struck by lightning at the same time when it wasn't even raining...what are the odds of that?? How did it happen? A few years ago, they were sitting outside at a picnic table before a storm when a bolt of lightning struck the table. Luckily, none of them were seriously injured other than third degree burns on their hands. So I wasn't exactly struck by lightning yesterday...but I was in the building that was struck by lightning...i suppose it's not enough to count as a near-life experience...but...I have been electricuted twice...does that count? Heheh, I suppose my family should stay away from electricity... Come to think of it, I actually know another person who's been struck by lightning. My cousin's friend Kristen went to turn off a light right when lightning struck her house and it zapped her through the wiring and threw her into the wall across the room...and since she's not dead, she's got a cool story to tell... posted by Shannon | 5:21 PM |
