![]() Friday, May 03, 2002 (stealing line) Speaking of dreams...which I wasn't...(/stealing line) but everyone else on the web was...well, he was... Well, I'm one of those people who "don't" dream. Well, actually, it's been proven that everyone dreams every time they sleep, but some people just don't remember them. You most often remember your dreams when you are not in deepest sleep. This is probably why I don't: because I am such a heavy sleeper that I've slept through a hurricaine and my friends have had to go through drastic measures to wake me up. But anyway, once in a while I'll remember one. At the moment, I can only remember three dreams that I have ever had in my entire life...(self pity)that's really sad...(/self pity) So anyway, again, I had a really weird dream a little while back, and I was planning on posting it, but, alas, I forgot... So, everyone was at the docks at the crew boat house, and the coaches were like "Alright, we're gonna take everyone in the launch in a few minutes," So for some reason, I hurried back into my dorm [which for some reason was in the place of the boat house...rather than the 40 minute drive away it really is. My dorm was half its normal size and there was no light except for a little daylight shining through the sides of the window where the shade didn't cover. My dad's laptop was pugged into the charger in the wall, closed, sitting on the floor under the window [in truth, its not even in my dorm], my CD player was on, but softly playing dead air, and my patio lights that hang along the window were on. Everything in my room was in a place opposite from where it really was supposed to be, and most of it all together wasn't there.] So for a reason unknown to me, I was debating really hard and really fast as if I needed a split second decision: do I take the CD player or the laptop? And this decision seemed really important...I took the laptop and ran out my door only to find that everyone was in the hall walking to or from the showers in towels with their shower caddies. "You missed the lauch, we're back already," they said. I had only been in my room for a few seconds...So I walk outside back to the docks, and a bunch people were in swimsuits standing on a big rock near the docks [which doesn't exist in reality]. So they were diving into the crystal carribean-like water [not like the real lake...] off of the rock. They were diving for movies tied onto the rock with cheap old string. [Tapes are really light, so I bet they would float in reality, unless they filled up with water] So everyone was diving in and bringing up tapes. But there was one movie that you couldn't dive for because it was "too close to the rock," and then I woke up...very confused... posted by Shannon | 8:03 AM |
