Wednesday, May 15, 2002 It's official: I'm going to Japan for three weeks this summer! [June 8 - July 1] It's sort of an exchange program with Kyoto Nishi High School. I'll be taking classes for a week, then two weeks of various activities and touring around for another two weeks. Whats really quite pathetic, though, is that this will be my first time ever leaving my time zone...I'm so excited! ...but now that it's definite, I'm starting to get nervous...it's going to be so strange not being able to communicate...and I'll be on my own sort of...I'll be living with a host family...and each host family has a kid who speaks English. [I'm thankful for that] I hope they have a son. You all who know me know I get along better with guys.
