Wednesday, May 22, 2002 AND today I coxed my first and only race this season! My boat rowed so well...even though we lost by a few seconds...but that doesn't matter! It was fun and I can't wait to go again. Did I mention how much I love coxing? The race was an 800-meter sprint race, which the team isn't used to, so that probably explains some of the difficulty. Lake Quinsigammond, our home course, is about 4 miles long. And a regular race is about 1500 meters. I suppose for next season, our team should work on achieving a longer sprinting ability.
